This related to my other post, but I thought that I would start another thread...hey do you guys have anything better to do today?;)

I can't seem to find one available anywhere, OEM or aftermarket.

Nelson makes one but it won't be available until Halloween '23

Any ideas?

If all else failed you could remove the polymer locking block from your Glock 44 frame and modify it slightly to accept a Glock Gen 5 19 locking block. You could then use an Advantage Arms 22 LR conversion kit on your Glock 44 frame. AA has an optics ready slide that fits Gen 5 frames. I have a Advantage Arms MOD 19/23 slide on a Combat Armory frame.

I hope you find a Glock 44 slide or maybe Glock would sell you one.

Here is a picture of my Advantage Arms 17/22 Target kit with a dedicated 17.3 frame above my AA 19/23 MOD kit with a fifteen round AA magazine in the well of my Combat Armory frame.

Why dont you just wait for Glock to send you a new one, im sure they will.

I would box up your slide and get it ready to ship to Glock on monday. Ive seen your pictures and to me it looks like installing the new sights damaged the slide. Maybe not then but shock loaded it. Shooting did it it then. Its just a polymer/graphite concoction. Ok for what it was designed for but not so much a sharp load. Have them look at it worst case they sell you a new slide. Problem solved but you are out money. If you want different sights I think Glock will install what you want for free

I hope you get some good news on Monday.

If your new slide fits 'loose', then there is another thread on here about taking a hammer to the frame in order to tighten up the slide fit a bit.

You BIL may be familiar with the procedure. If he is, then you should not let him near any of your firearms again into the future.

Yes, I emailed thenm pictures already and I'm sure that they will send me a new slide, but I would like to get an extra one in case it happens again
Why spend the money , just let Glock keep fixing it until they won’t . For me it’s no big deal to be without a range gun for a little while .
