I have an extended slide stop along with an extended magazine release. Both of which I really like and recommend!

 

Extended slide stop, extra mags, and lots of ammo for quality range time. Then once you have mastered your firearm, good set of night sights if you carry it.

Dont put non Glock parts on your Glock. The Glock Extended Slide Release is great, I just put one on my New G30 today. (14 bucks). Night sights are nice if you dont have them already (My G30 has the Glock ones). Glock knew what they were doing when they made your G22.

Mine has a 4.5lb connector, but that's how I got it. It also has night sights.

the thing I found worked best was tons and tons of Blazer brass

Get a set of night sights you like,
Get some extra mags,
Get a UPLULA mag loader,

Other considerations,.....

Smooth trugger,
Extended slide release, (I recommend Glock brand)
- connector (also called a 3.4 pound connector, again Glock brand)

Would avoid:

Steel guide rods,
Non factory recoils springs

+1...that's it...become proficient with it first, then add all the useless crap you want...

 

If you use it as duty or ccw weapon, get some quality night sights, other than that a lot of extra mags and ammo.

I did skateboard grip tape on the slide, 3.5# ghost connector, polished, smooth trigger, night sights, ct laser, pearce grip, 6 extra mags, and plenty of ammo. ymmv

 

A G23 might be a nice accessory for it. :dunno:

Ammo and targets! Oh and Crimson Trace Laser to aggravate the dog and cat.

 

i would recommend a 9mm conversion barrel and some g17 mags. mine works like a charm. 2 guns for an extra 150$ or so.
