I used it before I added backstraps. It added weight which helped for stability but didn’t reduce recoil much. The weight needs to be on the muzzle to help with that

While you are shooting a mag, do you notice recoil impulses getting stronger as the weight is reduced with each trigger pull?

Wear a wrist weight. A steel watch will weigh more than the plug.

 

You may want to think about specifically where you want the added mass - plug, frame weight or both.

 

I’ve got the Thug plug in 2 pistols. I haven’t really tried it without the plug but the extra weight has to help a little being at the end of the grip away from the pivot point of the pistol.

One thing of note is that they weighed significantly less than advertised. I’ve post the numbers somewhere and can look for them if you’re interested. I feel you need a plug of some kind for the gun games and the Pearce plug I bought the other day for a G19 fits terribly if you’re interested in smoothing the mag feed path.

The G22's light weight is great for speed, reduced swing weight. That's it's advantage, along with light recoil. Trying to beat the heavies with their own game, doesn't seem to work.

An SS guide rod should be the only other thing that you need.

Yea, I ignored the Limited Division comment. Go with the Dawson for Limited although in my mind the Glock is primarily a Production or CO gun.
