Vedder Lighttuck?

I have a no name iwb kydex holster that I use for my P365 and like it ok. It is comfortable and gets the job done, but I always read about how popular the Vedder Lighttuck is and how people say it is perfect. My question, is the Vedder worth it? $70 for a kydex iwb is quite a bit compared to many other options out there. What makes it so much better than the competition?

Pretty much. Their metal clips are far thinner and hold the holster in place much better than the plastic offerings many holsters have.

Lifetime warranty is nice, I had one crack and they replaced it immediately with no questions.

They don't make a holster for my current EDC and I wish pretty much daily my holster (still nice by PJHolster) was one of my vedders

They’re worth the money.

Each one I’ve owned has been finished very well and fit each gun nicely.

I have bought other, cheaper holsters and not nearly as much thought towards concealment or comfort has gone into them.

Only holsters I will buy.

If you can wait, they typically have sales every month or so
Or register on their site and don't order one for a while. I swear I get a sale/deal/coupon code about 3 times a week.

I've told them (and requested on their site a dozen times) give me a Wilson EDC X9 with rail holster and I'll buy it yesterday. No dice yet.

I suppose if I get a backup Wilson without rail, I can buy a 4" 1911 holster from them and hope it fits.

Good holster. The only thing I don’t like is the sight track is about 3 times as high as it needs to be and they could remove more material at the bottom edge.

Actually pretty handy if you decide to go with an RMR and tall sights to cowitness, they fit fine unlike some other options out there.

Vedder is my go to IWB. I've tried the cheaper Fomi single clip holsters and could never get them to work. The Vedder can be adjusted for ride height and cant which makes a big difference. At least in my case.

Tulster for the win

Vedder=nice
Tulster =really nice
They are well made but they are:

Not tuckable
Clip is too big
Doesn't adjust to my preferred style

So, Tulster for the loss ;):D

I recently purchased Vedder light tuck for my Springfield EMP 9mm. Hands down the best iwb holster I’ve used to date. Solid build quality, quality materials, very comfortable, great customer service and they stand behind the product. I will be buying another for my Glock 19. I’ve been wearing holsters for forty years.

Good luck, it’s an important decision.

Vedder is better! The thinner,stiffer metal clip is the best thing going. And on top of that, it’s logo-free. I don’t like advertising my holster maker on my belt. View attachment 731204
How are you advertising your holster maker with that thing shoved down the front of your pants?

....nevermind, I don't want to know

I have a Lighttuck for my 19. After a couple adjustments it is amazing how comfortable it is to carry something the size of the 19. I will soon be picking one up for my 43 and 43X. Only thing I would mention is to be very careful putting it on and off over a leather belt. If you are not careful you can scratch a belt with the metal clip pretty easily.
