it is Belgium or a L.e.s. Import or Interarms import from I.M.I. THERE was no Vector Arms Uzi 45years ago.and some of the parts came from used/new guns when the Vectors had been built even the Group industries same deal. Here is a real deal Import from around 72/73 was one of many i owned,$300.00 GOOD TIMES.I have got an IMI Uzi... I've had it ... SH*T... FOR 45 YEARS
And here I've been jonesing for the perfect PCC for 2 gun pistol / rifle matches... and it's been sitting in mysafe faaar too long!
Just think - If you hadn't mentioned this it would still be hanging out in my safe! That' Bad Boy is coming out to play this year for SURE!
😁
Now all I need is some mag holders... 🤔
Just walked in from the safe handling the old girl... She's one HEAVY biotch!!! I may go ahead and run her one time... but just built a MicroRoni that will run a Glock 9mm and... it's a Whole Lot Lighter and runs Glock Mags!!!!I built an UZI during the AWB out of a virgin IMI receiver and parts bought off ebay back in the day. Thing still runs like a top. Kinda over engineered for a semi auto PCC but fun to shoot.
Carry it in an old laptop case along with a dozen Israeli mags.
I do have a folding stock for it but prefer the wood one.
I bought a about a dozen surplus Israeli 25 round mags that came in those 4 pod pouches. The mags were new or like new. The pouches still had sand from the middle east in them when I got them.I had a Norinco UZI for a while. It had been converted to standard configuration, and had the folder. I later added the wood stock, which I preferred.
My rifle club had steel plates at various ranges from 25 to 100 yards, and I used to rip through them rapidly, going from plate to plate, never missing.
It did have a problem at one point… it would double. Surprise!, you just fired twice! Found it was caused by the top cover allowing the striker to jump the sear. Put a surplus IMI topcover on, problem solved.
I sold that Norinco to pay for an M1 Carbine from the CMP. Love my Carbine, still miss that UZI. Reminds me, I still have four magazines in an Israeli pouch … I should sell them.
Where you finding all these manuals?Anyone own one? I ask because I found this today.

A friends father died and I helped clean out and organize his stuff. They were going to throw them away. I told him they might be worth something to someone. I sold an IMI Uzi one to a local guy and put some on eBay. I’ve been getting rid of some other “collectible” literature and memorabilia in the GSSF forum and thought I’d offer the others in some other forums.Where you finding all these manuals?

Ole Blue Book of Guns says it's worth about $695...
Over at 'True Gun Values' they are saying $2500-ish for a semi auto UZI.

And...if I remember correctly the Model A doesn't have the blocking bar in it so conceivably you can use a full auto bolt in it. The Model B came out because the A's were too easy to convert to full auto.
