Anyone use this for the Gen 3 Glock 19?

I tried two because the first one was defective. When installed, and a full 10-round mag was inserted with the slide locked back, the slide would not release when racked (pet the dog).

I returned it.

A new one was sent to me and the same thing happens. Slide does not release when you try to rack it after loading a full mag.

Tried this with several OEM mags.

No link was provided in the OP. I believe the linked item in my post is what is being discussed.

-I've mainly used the extended slide stops referenced in Post_2, above, which are Glock's own brand.

-No photos were provided by the OP, but if not a batch of defective slide stops/releases by Tyrant, I'll next suspect improper installation. It's a common problem for folks (usually not Glock Armorers) to install a Gen3 or Gen4 slide stop with the top of its spring incorrectly OVER the locking block pin, instead of correctly UNDER the locking block pin.

The usual method of ensuring correct re-assembly is to put the locking block pin into the frame FIRST, then place the slide-stop and trigger pin in next; which is contrary to folks re-assembling in reverse order, as it's also recommended to remove the locking block pin first during disassembly. Reassembling in reverse order is NOT the way Glock teaches.

Thanks to Post 3, I now also see Tyrant specifically warns against using its product with G17/19gen3 guns when using 10-round mags.
Wow I just saw that on the site - that solves my problem.
