Fairly new to taking down Glocks completely. My biggest struggle is removing the slide cover plate without marring it at all. Any help is much appreciated!

Tips on removing slide cover plate
Yep... Use a thin punch to push down the spacer. Use the thumb on the other hand to push the cover plate down. Use the same thumb to block / catch the extractor depressor from launching under spring pressure.
