Got my M4-22 back and installed some of the upgrades.
Hyperfire PDI trigger (2lb)
12" ultralight aluminum forend
BAD lever
Comp to replace ugly birdcage
Strike Industries buttstock
955050

Still waiting on a safety and extended mag release.
I will probably change to a CTR stock eventually because I like the solid lockup and the angled, slick butt on this one sucks. I got it for free so I'm not out anything.

Another match in the books. I'm up to 400rds through this without a single failure to feed, fire, extract, eject, etc. Considering how crappy rimfire ammo can be, I'm very impressed with this gun so far.

I picked up a M4 elite a couple weeks ago. I put on a Vortex 2x7Crossfire II scope and cant wait to get it out for some plinking. What ammo do these things like? I got a few hundred rounds of mini mags and a bunch of Remington golden bullets so hope they work. I'm also waiting for my suppressor to get out of jail that is for my TX22...should work on the Tippman as well. Seems like a solid rifle. My friend has a S&W 15 22 that feels like a toy in comparison. Yours looks great by the way... love that trigger.

Mine has been flawless with Federal bulk pack ammo so far. It should eat mini mags like candy. Golden bullets are iffy sometimes, but I bet the Tippmann will chug along with them.
I'm not sure of the thread length on the M4-22. You may need a spacer for the suppressor, but it will be a fun host either way.

My Tippmann has eaten everything I've fed it with one exception. It will not cycle Winchester Varmint LF rounds. 26Grain 1650FPS, Tin HP. Guess just too light of a projectile.🤷‍♀️

I guess some specialty ammo like that is bound to have issues. It probably won't feed 60gr subs either.
I'm just ecstatic that it devours federal bulk since that's my preferred plinking ammo.

I finally took the m4 elite out for the first time. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. I slapped on the Vortex 2x7 scope and only had to adjust elevation a few clicks...didnt have to touch the windage knob. I was shooting at 50yds and accuracy(for me anyway) was freaky good. Was grouping .5-.75. no malfunctions with the 300 rounds I shot. My shooting buddy shot it as well and is ordering one when she gets home tonight...lol

They are really nice guns. I haven't shot any groups with mine, but it is plenty accurate for my needs.

Shot another match last Saturday and a buddy also shot my Tippmann. Up to about 700rds now.
Around 600rds it did have it's first hiccup. Fired first round and ejected the empty, but didn't pickup next round. The only cause I can think of is a low powered round. Racking the bolt solved the problem.
Can't really blame the gun for a bad rimfire round.
Still loving this thing.

Another match win today and the Tippmann now sits around 1000rds without a hitch. This is the most reliable rimfire I've ever owned.
This match was the first time going to any real distance and it shined out to 150 yards.

'Sounds like you've more than proven that the Tippmann Arms M4-22 rifle is more than capable of excellent reliability and accuracy! I hope it continues to perform well for you, and thanks for posting :)
It has definitely proven itself. I'm the first one in our group or club to get a Tippmann so I was going in with a "test dummy" mentality. That's one of the reasons I've been periodically updating this thread. I want to help inform potential buyers since it's an unknown gun and company for many.

I'm still loving my Tippman. I have let two of my friends shoot mine...they both bought one. I am not a marksman by any stretch but this rifle makes me look like I know how to shoot...lol. I just got a thousand more rounds of mini mags in today...cant wait for Sunday.
