Thoughts on the STI perfect 10 2011 NUGENT edition. I think this is one good looking pistol that i might just have to own. Anyone have an encounter or shot one yet. STI International is only about an hour drive for me. Minus my glocks i tend to have expensive taste for pistols. The NUGE said it was one of best pistols he has ever shot. Just looking for some others opinions.

I like STI's, 10mm's and love the Nuge. I want one on principal alone. I already have a G20, one of Ted's favorite guns ever and a G29. And I've always wanted a 1911 in 10mm. I doubt I ever get the STI 2011, because I'm sure it ain't cheap, but I bet it's pretty sweet. I'll have to tae a loo at one sometime.
While I have had good results as far as function with STI products, the finish leaves much to be desired. Some will say that as long as it functions looks don't matter as much. I disagree. If I'm droppin over $1500 on a pistol I don't expect to see tooling marks and areas where the bluing is thin. I have owned two and both were the same. They would eat anything fed to em and were probably the most accurate pistol I have owned. I do believe they will stand by their products with what little contact I've had with them.
