As the title states, I'm looking for a very thin minimalist in design kydex IWB holster for a 19. The point is to add as little to the thickness of the gun as possible. I personally do not care for the type that has a leather back with two offset clips. Those just seem bulky to me. What have you tried that you would recommend? Will be worn at 3 to 4 o'clock IWB on my hip.

MIC trigger guard works well. Remora works well. Single clip kydex works well, but the previous two options will be true 'minimalist.'

I carry my G17 in something just like this. Much more comfortable than kydex, IMO.

https://clingerholsters.com/ Just got the "Stingray" model for my G36 in 45acp. Love it. Well-made, well finished, quality components, lifetime warranty and the price is right. Single clip, 3 ride heights, light.

3 models - take a look.

Have a look at the Raven Concealment Vanguard or the Q-series,both are TRUE minimalistic trigger guard holsters.
I own a Raven and carry it regularly, although they are not for everyone, they serve their purpose very well.

I don't know what you (the OP) really want but here's what I have, use, or like:
Comp-Tac "Infidel" http://www.comp-tac.com/inside-the-waistband/infidel-holster-10222

Blade-Tech "Nano" http://shop.blade-tech.com/index.php?cPath=1_13_16&osCsid=lb7l958ku2hgs44a6gvu762aq4#.VpcWMzZ-fp0

Galco "Triton" http://www.galcogunleather.com/triton-holster-belt-loops_8_294_1317.html

Sidearmor "IWB" http://sidearmor.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_40&products_id=85

Some of these brands have also had IWB models which have been discontinued or changed over the years. I really liked one from Blade-Tech which might occasionally still be found on Ebay.com. It's just called an IWB and looked like its "FIT ALL" iwb holster, except it was molded to cover a handgun's full length, instead of leaving the length short and open. I also like Blade-Tech's belt loops the best as they're adjustable for 1.25", 1.5", or 1.75".

I did have one Comp-Tac which didn't "click" in as well upon reholstering, however. I'd bought it used and gave it away. My other Comp-Tac Infidels have worked just fine. I'll usually replace the clip with their leather snap belt loops.

The Sidearmor has a nice, heavy-duty thickness of Kydex. To criticize Sidearmor are its belt loops. The loops are solid, making them a bit more possible to fracture. On a couple of Sidearmor holsters, I ended up putting on Comp-Tac brand leather snap-on belt loops, although this makes the holster a straight-drop with no cant.

Galco's Triton may not be molded/fitted as well as the others. but works well-enough. I'll typically put on Galco's optionally purchased snap, belt-loops, but these cost an extra $10. The normally-supplied clip works OK, however; if the holster is adjusted too tightly, you can end up drawing the entire holster w/gun out instead of just the Glock.

Here is a minimalist holster that is still an actual holster.

This one is made by PHLster but there are similar ones made by others around if you look for them.

Check out http://pjholster.com/ he makes some kydex holsters that are quite nice and he offers several options and they add very little to the thickness.

I run a Zorn "skinny rig" and am very happy with it for both the g19 and the 23. Only comment is it does not have any cant to it and I would like a 10-15 degree forward cant as the gun grip seems to print less and it improves my draw. But I love it and will get another one from Zorn.

I also use a T-Rex arms (yes that's their name) and a blade tech but both holsters have a belt clip that prints if I wear a light tee shirt. Both work very good but the belt clip requires a dress around approach.

A PJ holster is my favorite. They are made from one piece of kydex which includes the clip. I have six of them for different handguns, and one of them is for a Glock 23 which is same size as a 19. They add very minimal, comfortable to wear, easy to get on and off. I have found nothing that I like as well. You won't be disappointed.

I second all the above. I have several and Paul will make the holster to just about any spec you want. One piece and not a whole bunch of bolts and screws. Price is right and not a long waiting period.

Any holster that puts the clip / belt loop on top of the holster/pistol is going to feel bulkier than designs like the CTAC which uses leather "struts" to put the clips off to the sides of the holster.

I had no interest in a hybrid (what everyone seems to call half-kydex or other polymer holsters that use a leather backer), but finally bought an MTAC since Comp-Tac wasn't offering the CTAC for the G43. Of course, days after I ordered the MTAC, they started offering the CTAC for the G43.

Because the leather is thicker than kydex, a hybrid holster will be thicker than an all kydex holster of similar design...but after the leather molds to your body, it's kind of nice.

If you really want to stay all-kydex and want it to carry as thin as possible, I recommend the CTAC.

A vote for phlster Skeleton. On my hip now. My main rig. It fits my 23 and 27. Have one for my s&w 637 too.

I also have the Raven vanguard too. Very minimal. Also they have just the tigger cover rig. It'll fit any glock.

Also now I like the hazmat kydex Nirvana rig. Have one for my Sigs 938, 2022 and M11-A1

All are minimal kydex.
