I purchased a complete slide from 3-CR Tactical
For 2 bills shipped and a Dagger lower for $99 shipped … … just for a Glock 19 mag compatibility more than anything… the grip angle on the Dagger is nice actually really good …I like the like of stuff on the 3-CR slide ..overall a solid pistol …
But if Im carrying anything bigger than a mini-9 .. it will be my 27 or XDME compact 10mm

My prediction - Glock will keep the military and police markets because of their fantastic deals no one can match; however, they will not now begin to lose the civilian market to the clones just like Colt did to Kimber and Springfield. . I have a friend who bought a shadow systems and he loves that pistol.
I’m a huge fan of the Zev OZ9

That’s not your prediction, it’s a nowadays facts been going on for some time now.

I have a couple Glocks and recently got 2 Shadow Systems. I feel like my SS are better guns. They have a 200 round break in period. I had 4 failures in the first 2 mags. After that, I’ve had 0 malfunctions. They added things that Glock should have done to their pistols. The optic mounting system for one is way better. I carry the Shadow Systems but Im still not going to sell my Glocks.

The Glock brand is very very strong. Most people have never even heard of Stoeger or Shadow Systems.

"Glock" is the "Kleenex" of defensive pistols.

You mean a higher price. A Guccified clone, where the clone costs more than the original.

PSA makes a pretty good near clone for a lesser price.
I just wish the Dagger fit G19 holsters like the MR920.

The good news ... PSA has said the Micro Dagger™ will fit G43X holsters.

The Dagger™ Compact (and now Full Size - S) was unfortunate in that I think PSA could've done a much better job preserving the unique ergonomics of the frame while maintaining G19 holster compatibility.

PSA Dagger $300
That's MSRP for the base model and has been since the pistol debuted as the PS9 DAGR at SHOT Show 2020. You can purchase the Dagger™ Compact pistol as part of sales / bundles for as little $249.99.

I'm still catching up on the thread, but I haven't heard any mention of the Anderson Manufacturing KIGER-9c G19 gen3 "clone".

Anderson Manufacturing KIGER-9c
I only know one person who has shot one, a gun writer. He felt it was okayish. Until folks have them and get at least a few past 10k, personally, I call that the trial period.

And the fact it's $429 MSRP on the Anderson Manufacturing web site (compared to the Dagger™ Compact at $299.99 MSRP). The street price is around $360. The complete frame retails for $99.99 (same as the Dagger™). However, the KIGER-9c frame is simply a rebranded SCT Manufacturing SCT 19 frame which can be had for as little as $42 stripped (with locking block). The SCT 19 frame is often paired with a Dagger™ slide assembly.

I am not a fan of Glock clones, because I see no reason to switch from the original, but I am very tempted to buy an Anderson Kiger 9C, just because it's the only handgun made in Kentucky that I know of. Appears to be a Glock 19 clone.

Most parts are interchangeable with the Glock 19, including swapping the whole slides/frames.

Anderson Kiger 9C ... Glock 19 clone.
It is ... a G19 gen3 "clone". Even more of a G19 gen3 clone than the Dagger™ Compact.

The Dagger™ Compact pins are all proprietary. The trigger housing and locking block pins are roll pins. The KIGER-9c rails are overmolded with a G19 gen3 locking block. The Dagger™ Compact rails are pinned. The Dagger™ Compact has a hybrid front rail / locking block. The Dagger™ Compact firing pin is proprietary. The SCT Manfacturing SCT 19 frame used with the KIGER-9c has it's own holster compatibility challenges.

I have read somewhere that Glock's patent on their Gen 3's have expired which has led to other makers duplicate Glocks with some clones.
Might explain why Glock changed a lot of things that didn't need changing in the Gen 5.
