Looks like the europeans really like the CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow.

 

A good friend has a CZ SP01, I liked it so well that I want one, too. Not that I am going to sell my Glocks though. They are ALL keepers.

Yes, I know that. The main factor is shooter. Anyway I had my moment of joy when I read the list.

Of course it's the shooter and not the gun. But as a competitor at ANY level, you always want to choose your gun and gear so that your limit is your own ability, and not your equipment. At least I do. So in that sense, this proves that shooting a production Glock CAN be done at the highest levels of competition, and not be a liability to the shooter (as some haters would claim). And this in fact dispels the illusion that you can't be competitive with a Glock.

Just to be clear, I wouldn't choose Glock to compete with because I don't shoot striker-fired pistols quite as well as SA, but that's just me. Obviously, Robert Vogel has mastered it, so it can be done. I can shoot a Glock well enough to trust my life to it as an EDC weapon.

It should also be taken into consideration that the IPSC production rules are written in such a way to put Glock at a disadvantage. The G34 is not allowed, and the first shot must be 5 pounds. As we know, the first shot on a Glock is the same as every other shot, whereas a DA/SA eats lighter after the first shot.

Many I speak to today believe that production division is now broken, with the allowance of $2900 race production guns.
