I recently purchased my first Tagua holster (for a Colt .45 Commander). It seemed to be very well molded to the gun and fit very well - although the leather did seem a bit thinner than a comparable Galco that I looked at. THe only drawback that I've noticed so far is that the thumbreak strap is too long and would allow the hammer to fall under it when carried cocked and locked. I trimmed it shorter, and now it works just fine. For about half the price of a Galco, I'd say its a pretty good value for the $$.

Mine seems comparable to the Hume product. The belt slide looks just like a JIT, one of Humes best holsters for short barreled guns in my opinion.

Happyguy :)

I bought one for an N frame Smith. Thin and next to useless, although a 629 is a large gun............ What I get for going cheap.

I do like their mag holders; I just gorilla glue the snap shut, and they work just as well as a more expensive unit.

I'm carrying my G22 on my right hip at this moment, undernieth a button-up 2XL shirt, using the thumb-strap belt-slide version. It's comfortable, but I would trade it any day for one without a thumbstrap. I also find the holster a very tight fit for my Glock; I have to keep my right thumb on the back of the slide as I holster the gun, or otherwise, it pops the slide out of battery. In the holster's defense, I do wear my belt very tight, to hold the weight of my belt-gear.

I have a Tagua clip style IWB for my LC9. I despise clip holsters but I have it while I wait for my real holster to arrive.

I think Tagua holsters are made by nine year old South American children out of prostitute and convict hides or something

Actually, if I remember correctly, it's Venezsuela(sp?) Bull/Steer-Hide.
