jim c hit the nail on the head. I was fortunate to attend a machine gun shoot before I purchased mine and was able to shoot 8 or more different manufactures, as the dealer provided them. What I very quickly realized, every suppressor mentioned on any website I went to asking what is the best sounding, sounded like absolute crap to me…I do not like “tinny” sounding suppressors. Semi-auto will never be as quiet as a bolt gun, too much ejection port noise…pistols and most S/A’s blow crap into the gun, so it needs cleaned more often. I know with my MKIV 22/45, when it stop running, I pull the upper off, spray the lower with carb cleaner, hit it with canned air then CLP…put it back together and repeat process as needed.
