Hi all,

I have a G26.3 that I will be sending the slide out to be cut for an optic (RMR footprint). I have been looking around various websites ( Trijicon, Ameriglo,XS. Truglo etc.) for Supressor height sights for a lower1/3 Co-witness, and although there are some nice options out there, there just hasn't been anything that has really stood out.

I am probably one of the few out there that actually likes the stock goal post rear sights, but figured there might be enough of us out there where someone would have come out with them in a suppressor height sight- buy as far as I can tell, nobody has taken that plunge as of yet lol.

I have also noticed quite a few sights appear to have a thinner front sight and a fairly large gap between the front and rear (like the pic I attached). I'm sure a lot of people prefer this for better accuracy, but in my experience, something with a fuller front sight and with minimal gap, has just worked a lot better for me.

If the suppressor height stock goal post option doesn't actually exist, could anyone recommend sights where the front sight didn't look so skinny?

As a fellow G26 fan I would HIGHLY suggest you look at a Kimber R7 Mako BEFORE spending all that $ and effort!!!
its like some one went through a 26 and decided to make it better with things I had not even considered.
and the trigger alone is absolutely awesome, let alone it is the size of a 12+1 with 13+1 co-witness with great sites and the list goes on for $750 at Murdoch’s here where I live, ALL included.
For me it’s the difference between 5 yard head size self defense shooting with the 26 and 10 yards with the Mako no problem.

Thanks for the tip. I did see some Youtube reviews of the Mako when it first came out, and was impressed. The only issues I had with it were the grip being too thin for me and the optic footprint being the smaller shield rmsc. Also, the G26 just fits my hand better than anything else I have shot and that's probably why it is also the one I am most accurate with.
