Picked up my white Steyr AUG A3 last week. Came with a 16” barrel with a scope which includes cross hairs and a round circle (Donut of Death) in the middle of cross hairs. Weighs about 7lbs unloaded. Came with a 30 round magazine
I did pick but two 42 round proprietary mags too
Anyway gun shoots great. You tube videos say trigger pull is around 9 pds which I was affraid was going to be a bit much. Turns out the trigger is super smooth with a nice clean break. Much nicer than my stock Sig MCX 300 blk out.
Rifle shoots both 5.56 & .233 REM. So far I’ve only shot 55gr 223.
First trip out to the range, this rifle/scope was way off at 50 yards. I couldn’t even hit any of the white target.
But with some “bore sighting”
I was able to shoot pretty good groups at 50 yards. Once I hone
in the scope where I want it, will try it at 100 yards.
I paid $2400.00 including tax.
A bit more than I wanted to spend, but this gun is worth every penny. (in my opinion)
