Pretty simple and straightforward. Looked at the Springfield website. Does the grip have any texturing on the front strap and can you take the pistol down without a tool.

One last question. Is that garrison a series 70 or 80. Looked at a few videos and no one of course shows if the plunger is there or not.

Thanks for the information. Now I have to decide whether I want to upgrade a GI I have or sell it and pick up a garrison. Not sure yet which would be better for the wallet.
