I have an old truck I could set on fire with two Glock guns inside that would only cost me about $4,900 ($500*2 = $1,000 for the Glock guns, $2,995 for the old truck to set on fire, and $905 dollars in local fines for the illegal car fire).
Don't forget the cost of replacing springs and spring cups, plus function fire ammo...

Getting a bit ridiculous
I wrongly assumed you were referring to the esthetics of the "Gucci" Glocks. I opened the webpage and thought, "That's not so bad, and not really full-on 'Gucci'."

Then my eyes went over to the PRICE! Yowza! LOL! Yeah... for that kind of dough, there are some really nice pistols to be had out there. There's this dude here, named "bac1023" that knows a bit about that! ;)

If this is worth $4K (though about $900 of that is the optic and light)....

How much is my "gucci build" worth? LOL!

Those guns are only for tier 0 operators, which are 1 better then tier 1 guys.
You've obviously never heard of the Negative Tier Operators.

But that's Double Dog Top Secret-Decoder Ring Level Access. Operations so dark you need night vision just to read the files.

I'll probably be put on a hit list for posting this.

Much better BBQ gun* than any revolver, engraving doesn't change that. 😁:devilish:

*Full disclosure, I don't do BBQ gun. 😉

Figure...

Optic: $400
Light: $300
Comp: $300
Trigger: $150
Base gun: $550
Sights: $100

That's already $1800.

Add in whatever other internal work they did, new slide, stippling... It's not a $4k gun but I can see why they'd charge, say, $3k.
That's not a Gucci Glock. That's a Glock regular Glock with only sights and the trigger changed. Those are common upgrades. The optic and light can be taken off and used on any other pistol or rifle. The only thing in the realm of Gucci is spending $300 for a comp to shoot 9mm which is stupid IMHO.

Exactly............. if you're going to charge $4K at least making something most of us couldn't duplicate with a simple order from Brownells, or Midway.

Thank you. Very compelling logic!

You are good at this... are you in sales? If not, you should be! Because you are pushing me closer and closer to closing this deal!
