Beretta Bobcat 21A or Beretta Tomcat 3032?

 

Beretta 21a would have been my guess as well.....small enough to be pretty much useless!

There are quite a few DAO pistols in this size....also just as useless.

 

AFAIK the 21a is the smallest current production DA/SA, which is appropriate given your username, Bobcat.

Whether you find a mousegun useful or useless and for what purpose is a different story. Mine isn't an EDC but it's great for inexpensive practice especially point shooting, since it has virtually no sights and a wisp of a barrel.

 

I enjoy my TPH mouse gun.

Bersa thunder

 

Smallest gun I carried ( as back up in cuff case ) was a Colt Jr...
but .25 is hardly a gun unless in someones face

I have owned both the beretta 21 series ( still in production so probably the smallest currently produced one)
and a Walther TPH ( discontinued) which was a hair smaller dimensionally than the 21 series, but due to a steel frame heavier

 

The discontinued CZ Rami should be about the size of the Beretta PX4 subcompact.

I'm also looking for a DA/SA with decocker only, in at least .380, that's smaller than a PX4 compact or P-01.

Personally what I really want is a Sg p239 with a p365 magazine capacity. I know that’s kinda like asking for a 229, bill there’s something about the 239 that just fits better for me.

I realized after that post that I wasn't specific enough. The Bersa Thunder fits that post, but it's huge for what it is. What I really want, is a DA/SA LCP Max, and DA/SA 365... lol

The closest thing I’ve run across was the Springfield XD-e. Unfortunately it’s single stack. Also, I say this as someone with large hands, the trigger reach is just absurdly long. I found it pretty much unusable.

Thanks to Wererat posting this site, I found this... .380 and blowback, but not too much bigger than a 365.

 

No longer in production but readily available is the Beretta 950. Neat little gun but not my idea of a self defense gun. .25acp and .22 short.

 

A better question might be:

What is the smallest DA/SA self-defense pistol you believe provides completely reliable and effective protection from a potentially deadly attack?

 

My vote is for the DAO Seecamp .32 .....or .380 if you choose.

Sig p232 or the hk mod 4 both are very nice along woth just a mauser 32 or 380 acp

 

I have the P2000sk, but it is bulky in today's world of carry guns.
I also carry a shield and a 365xl.
Personally, I think a shield or 365xl size gun da/sa with hammer and decocker would sell like hotcakes.
