I have a recent Sig, C3 crimson trace, 4.25 inch. I love the gun and it shoots great. I stayed away from the Kimber because of some of the issues I've heard of, but have also heard good things too.

The sig is a superb 1911, no question. I just shot it in a "point shoot" class and it seemed faster than the Glocks.
