How the hell does Sig Sauer win every single contract with the United States Military for every small arms contract these days? I'll tell how.... they are as corrupt as the Military Industrial Complex, making their deals and providing garbage weapons that have issues.

i was paranoid about my p320 from reading tons of "reports" and i did everything short of hitting it with hammers and i cant get it to go off or trip the striker, the problems with 320 were the original heavy trigger thats all been fixed, mines a 2021 and trust it. people having p320s go off now truly are inexperienced cops to people who just messed up whatever they were doing to cause them to go off, but a p320 cant just go off on its own, the trigger HAS to be pulled for it to go off, quit repeating bull from 5-6yrs ago

The questions is: did they sue Beretta ?

Are there publicly available numbers listing how many of the Glocks purchased by the US Army were issued to foreign army's or police forces after the US military trained them in its use?

Glock stock holder? If you think Sig is the only firearms manufacturer that has been involved in some questionable business practices, you my friend need to get out from underneath your rock, remove your tinfoil hat, and do al little research.

Your above statement was one of the most uninformed ones I have read in a good long while.

Sorry pal, I am not onboard with what Sig offers these days with their questionable quality control practices. We can argue shady business practices all day long. One thing that is clear is that Glock made some pretty successful marketing strategies way back in the day you will have to admit.

Many of us here vividly remember when the automatic answer from Glock on a reported problem was OPERATOR ERROR. They may have sold that response sucessfully in Europe or Africa, but it did not fly in the USA. Mr. Speir (formerly a famous gun writer😁 ) reported that NYPD was going to blow the whistle on them and they got the message., eventually.

As I understand it the specs required that the pistol be modular. The Glock was not. I have Glocks, Sigs, and various other brands. Socom had different specs, hence they chose the Glock 19.
As to the rifle chosen, I don't know anything about the requirements for that. Having served in the Army and as a police officer, I do know that the people writing the requirements can be biased. I believe that was why the Ordnance Department selected the M14 as the rifle for the Army and Marines. They had a bias towards .3o caliber weapons.

If you want to get upset over the military procurement process take a look at this. I don't think Sig is corrupt - I just don't like the 320 - much prefer West German 220.
Pistol contracts are peanuts in the big picture.

Sig... At one time was OK, some of their guns are still top tier. The 320, is absolute hot sick garbage. And so is every "polymer" gun they have ever produced.

...I don't think they are any more corrupt than any other multi million dollar company, but I don't for a minute think that some "kick backs" didn't get them the contracts that have today.

Just like every other .mil contract company that came before them.

Greasy palms are how contracts are signed.

And why to you think that?

And so is every "polymer" gun they have ever produced.
Like the P365 which is the hottest selling micro-9 in the world? That has range rental examples going at or near 100k rounds? That seems pretty solid to me.

if the p320 issues happend in the 90s there wouldnt be the social media and lawsuits because the word wouldnt have spread like wildfire like it can now, ive personally had glocks for over 20yrs so i am biased towards glock but i wont deny there was issues with them but they were before internet mass lawsuit histaria and so most people never knew or had vids of lawsuits shoved down their throughts. there is no difference in QC between glock or sig. sig just presented pistols that was requested glock didnt for military trials

Hmmmm, that SIG looked suspiciously like a Glock. ;) Booger hook on the bang switch, and adrenaline will get you every time.

I'd also be willing to bet, that officer swore his finger wasn't on the trigger until he saw the video.

These type of ND's are caused by deficiencies in training, not by the firearm.

The reason SIG wins US military contracts is: they deliver exactly what the customer and military or federal tenders ask for and specify.

The MHS contract asked for a lot of things SIG doesn't make -- but they partnered and sub-contracted across industry to include holsters, pouches, ammunition, night sights, etc. that the Army said MUST be in the submission.

Give Uncle Sam what he asks for (even if it seems, sounds, or looks stupid) and you win, simple as that. Be lazy and you lose.

I keep asking people find me a domestic arms company that can supply handguns, rifles, machine guns, and optics that are fit for 1st world militaries.

To date all I get are crickets, some idiot will mention S&W ocasioanlly which is comedy.

I own three models of Sig, my P365, my classic style M400 and my hard to find Patrol 556. I love all three and take great pleasure in shooting them. All corporations these days have corruption, but I for one am a happy Sig Sauer customer. Love my .380 Glock as well with Hogue grips and my Smith & Wesson 686 4 inch.

N.Y. Post, money hungry attorneys, anti-gun groups trying to bankrupt gun manufacturers, some people in and out of law enforcement looking for a payday, anti-gun fake news media, I heard about in on the internet. Has Sig ever lost a case and were held libel with the newer fixed P320’s pistols ? * NO THEY HAVE NOT * IMHO, that's called a clue.
