Glock 19 MOS Gen 5
Now that she’s up and running again really want to show her off. Purchased 4 months ago. Was hesitant on going with a Glock. Larger framed individual so was nervous about the size of the firearm and lack of placement for pinky. Plus, have been trained my whole life to always have a firearm with a manual safety. After putting about 1k of rounds through it I can confidently say a manual safety is that extra millisecond that is going to get you killed. Still love my fnx, m9a3, and the back to back WWII champion. But, they will stay in the safe. Coming from carrying the fnx daily I notice a huge difference in mobility and ease of bending over to grab stuff on the ground… I’ll be a Glock fanboy til the day I die.
Really creating this post to get ideas on what else can be done to the firearm that would be beneficial for carrying everyday.
Current modification/add ons: TLR 1/
Holosun 507c green dot/ Trijicon suppressor height sights/ Talon rubberized grips/ $19 Amazon magwell that I modified to fit with beavertail back strap. Plus can fit oem and aftermarket magazines/ cut on trigger guard for middle finger/ strike industries bang bands… buddies call it my “glock ring”/ OEM slide release extension/ Fly tying UV resin used as a mag release extension.
Any further recommendations are welcome. Want to get dialed in on flat face triggers and comps if suited for daily carry.
