Does anyone have any experience with the Tokarev USA TX3 HAMMER 12 GAUGE 18.50" PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN?
PSA has it for $99.99 and i was hoping someone who has one can tell me if they are worth it? Really want one for home defense or low budget “truck” gun.

Foreign made shotgun under $100, do you really think it’s going to be anything but a POS?
This.

It's going to be nothing more than a low quality **** box made from poor quality components.

Buy a Maverick 88 if you're on a budget. If you don't have the money, keep saving.

👍👍 on this. Probably the best shotgun for the money on the market today. I bought one after watching the 500 round test on TFB. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2021/09/24/mossberg-maverick-88-test/

Use that $100 to save up, Academy has a Mossberg 590 8+1 with Ghost Ring Sights for $520, and that's the first place I looked, I'm sure it can be found for less. This is a real shotgun that'll outlast you!

Looks like its one of the Turkish shotguns. I bought an Escort Slugger for ****s and giggles a while back. It probably came from the same factory as the Tokarev lol.

If your just curious like me and just a cheap trash blaster, I say go for it.

If you want something to really depend on, then by all means get the Maverick or better. The Mavericks are actually really good shotguns.

My main complaint about my Turkish SG is it doesn't like low brass. It eats high brass all day.

POS may be too strong of a statement. But one can do better.

Maverick 88 is the cheapest decent shotgun made. Don’t waste your money on anything that costs less.

Or, as mentioned above, find a used Mossberg 500/590, or an older Remington 870.

Benelli Nova can be found for under 400 new.

James Reeves has done a few burndown videos where the Turkish shotguns have gone tits up within 500 rounds.

They are effectively low volume shooters that are disposable.

They might be nice if you are wanting something to tinker with to keep it running or just want to run a gun into the ground and use it as a wall hanger or lawn decoration.

Go for it.

It's a pump. They can be made very cheaply, and still function perfectly fine - because you are doing the work... Semiautos are a different story-- you are reliant on all the mechanicals to be right.

Certainly doesn't have to be pretty, it's not going to have any features.

Anything super cheap is gonna be super garbage. I always say why waste money on something like that to finally need to get something better? That 100 bucks would be wasted. Now I’d not get a new Remington. The older used ones I agree with. Stay away from the express junk if you can. Older mossbergs are good too. If any shotgun you got used was before screw in choke days realize it might not be suitable for what you want it for but I agree with the used think to save money and get a decent gun

All Turkish shotguns aren’t the same be advised
