Sounds like a spring tension issue. Not holding the last round or the follower under enough tension at near full extension.

 

Exactly. Looks like I may have jumped the gun on this one (wa waa:freak: ) I just spoke with Shield Arms (very gracious and helpful) and they are sending me all new mag springs, sounds like I’m not the only one this has happened too.

 

Yeah I would definitely keep an eye on the springs. These mags are a game changer for me, I now edc my 48 as opposed to my 19. This is a good thing for me as this time of year in Az. mandates less clothing! The folks at Shield Arms were great, they were very responsive. I had new springs free of charge 3 days later .

 

That 10% spring will prob solve your issue ,they are good people,wouldn’t call it a failure if they fix it

 

Well it absolutely was a failure on all 4 mags so I called it as such. That being said I also indicated that the company was “very gracious and helpful” and corrected the problem.

 

What I mean is you had a malfunction ,in my opinion ,not a failure,you would still be in the fight up till that last round ,gun didn’t jam,nothing broke. Slap a new mag in and keep fighting .
