The 'wear' on your barrel is normal as rain, friend. Just use it. I understand wanting to keep oness handgun as new looking as you can but it isn't gonna say 'new' forever. Honest wear is different looking than abuse. I don't, I WON'T abuse my firearms. But I do use the heck out of them. If the 'finish wears so be it. Just keep it clean and lubed and put those rounds downrange!

In 20 years when you have put thousands and thousands of rds thur it and it looks 'experienced' all over...it will be one fine looking Glock. One of the probs now I see is we all buy so much new stuff everything we have looks new all the time........cause mostly it is. Lots of us look like newbies even when we are old hands and shoot a LOT! We just obtain new equipment consistently.

Maybe someone has a few well worn pistols they could show us here? I'd love to see some trail wore firearms from the guys here myself.
