If it is special ordered a 4 month wait isn't too unusual. Long wait but still not unusual for a special order holster that accommodates a weapon light. Good luck.

Hmmm. I thought it was a special order or custom not a stocking item. Did they give a reason it is backordered? Four months backordered is unacceptable for sure. In the time you waited you could have had a custom holster done and sent out to you. Good luck.

Does anyone own a safariland Model 7360 holster for a glock 21
I ordered one for my 21 with tlr1
a 2-3 months ago only to be told last week it'll be another month or so.

I had one for my G21SF w/ SF X300 Ultra that I sold and replaced w/ just a regular Safariland ALS holster of the same design w/o the SLS rotating design hood feature (my original was just a regular SLS for the same gun and light combo).

I wanted the gun to lock as soon as I dropped it in the holster and like the speed of the ALS system vs the SLS setup. I can't remember how long I waited for mine, but it was not that long.

What would you like to know?

I get their models numbers mixed up, but I got the one that just has the ALS retention that allows the X300. I'm a lefty, so they never have them in stock. It took two weeks. I just ordered another one in FDE for my tac rig and they estimated another two week wait. You might get lucky and find one on Amazon if you're right handed and want a black one.

Here's the SLS I had for my G21SF w/ SF X300 Ultra, and my current ALS only holster that I now use for the same gun.

I am not a LEO, this is just my "bump in the night" rig so it's easier to carry extra ammo and a light or what not, which is why I swapped out the SLS for an ALS only holster. I had no need for the SLS, and found the ALS only setup better suited my needs. I really just wanted a setup that would automatically lock the gun in the holster if I dropped it back into it. I use an ALS for my CCW setup also, so drawing from the ALS is already normal for me.

Hope this helps -

the 7360 is made from a safariseven
plastic 7ts. suppose to be easier on gun finish because there's no felt liner and it's slicker plastic for better draw.
blah blah blah.bought in to the new hype I know they've filled some Leo orders with them according to google.

7TS is actually pretty cool, seems a little "slimmer" in design to the previous Safariland kydex, but in reality not that much.

The big thing that sold me on 7TS (I've replaced one of my S.L. ALS holsters I damaged with one - I stripped the mounting screw in it, and I've also since bought only 7TS for any other guns I wanted a S.L. ALS holster for) was the fact they DRAIN better (debris) and are less likely to allow anything to collect in them (dirt, pebbles, etc.). I don't know how much of an issue this was with previous S.L. kydex, but it seemed like a cool added feature. Factor in that it seemed to carry a little slimmer (to me at least) for CCW, and I was sold.

I could honestly use either system, but going forward I prefer the 7TS now if they are available for the gun I want them for.

This is my S.L. 7TS ALS for my G17 -
