Just picked up my new “Glock Killer” last night at my LGS! Put 30 rounds through it a few minutes ago with no hiccups. Tried a few different holsters but not happy with any of them yet.

This is my everyday carry for 5+ years and is what I am looking for but I do plan to add a dot soon. It works in this combat holster but the taller front sight snags a little bit.
I’ve also tried these two Fobus holsters

I think one of these replaced the other but not sure. It fits good in the one on the right but super tight in the other even with the tension screw loose. The only advantage to these is the barrel doesn’t protrude through so the sight doesn’t hang, but it is scraping some plastic slivers out. It would probably scrape a clear path after a few ins and outs, I’m just not a fan. I’ve got a few more holsters that I have tried but they are more duty style. I’ll post them here in a bit. Any suggestions are appreciated.

With the Glock European safety holster (pic in upper right of my last post) and the US Glock duty holster the only problem is the rear sight is a little tight but this could easily be notched out.

I’ve never had these type sights before so I guess I never thought about it, but they can be a pain!

nice rugpul. does safariland make a universal fit holster still
They make so many I’m not sure. I know they still have the military style universal with a flap.
I’m looking for something like the Glock combat holster in my first pic up above.
I found some similar to it online today by Invader Concepts and Bravo Concealment but they are over engineered and one is rather expensive.
I often carry a 1911 Govt. in a 1791 leather holster and it works well. Guess I need to see if they make one that can handle the taller sights.

I tried my RXM in a number of different kydex Glock holsters I have, and it fit in all of them. Some, a little better than others, but they all work.

I also swapped out the Ruger slide stop for a Glock Gen 3 "extended" slide stop, and for the same reason I do it on all my Glocks. Its a bit of a PITA, but its not bad.

It appears that the Magpul polymer formula is a bit different than Glocks. I tried stippling the underside of the trigger guard to see how it would go, and, while it does add texture, it melts a bit weird, and it doesn't come out as aggressive as the Glock polymer. Not sure if Im going to do the rest of the grip at this point.

Interesting about the way it melts. Can you post a pic?

Ruger on the right, Glock on the left.

Kind of hard to explain, but the tip of the burner doesn't penetrate the Magpul like it does the Glock. Kind of just melts the surface and doesn't get the sharp edges that gives the Glock frame that more aggressive "stickiness". The Glocks finish feels more like a cat tongue, where the Magpul just feels a bit rough.
