I'm looking for a good OWB holster for my Ruger LCR. I want something that rides high and tight. The only thing that's holding me back from ordering one right now is my grips. I have the Hogue boot grips on the gun and they work great. However, I have decided that someday in the future I'm going to get a set of crimson trace laser grips. In looking on many holster sites I've found they usually offer two models for the LCR, one with CT and without. Does anyone have an experience with a holster that is compatible with both grips? I'd like to invest in a good holster, yet I don't want to have to ditch it after I get the grips.

Any suggestions are more than welcome. Thanks.

I have yet to find a decent IWB holster for my LCR. Dang trigger guard is the problem. Curious to see what folks are using.

I carry my 17 in a simply rugged cuda. I was considering a silver dollar pancake holster for the LCR...

I do need to get the versatile speed strip holster and a key hanger...

go on rugers web site and look at the mitch rosen leather holster. it's a little pricey but fits like a glocke made especially for the lcr. ruger has great cs, call them and ask about your laser issue, i'm sure they'll have some info.

DeSantis pocket, Crossbreed minituck (or similar) for IWB, wish they made a Galco M7X for the LCP.

I use a Theis IWB band holster made for the Ruger SP101. It works perfect for my LCR. It really does not matter what grips you have on to use the Theis.
