Rifle storage plastic bags

Anyone know where I can source this type of plastic bag to store rifles? I’ve found they are perfect for long term storage but don’t know where to find them except the ones that came with the original boxes (which I foolishly threw out ages ago). Thanks

Do you know why that is?

I vaguely remember hearing something about that a long time ago, with the reasoning being that plastic bags trap in condensation/moisture.

Seems like a problem that could be solved by putting desiccant packs in the bag with the gun? Or would that not work for some reason?

Thanks for any info!

Brownell's carry them but are all backordered.

Some years ago I got some Z-CORR bags that worked fine, except if handled frequently, I found they wouldn't last. I'd recommend if the idea is to put away and not mess with too often.

To the OP google "zerust" to find current production VCI storage bags. They have a website that you can buy directly from. ZCORR bags are good but the name changed and the company is gone now ("goodbye as of Dec 2020"). If you can find old ones they're Bluguard bags.

Get what you can while you can. I've used VCI bags ever since Bianchi sold 'em late last century and they work.
