There is zero difference in performance. The big thing for some reloaders is when you have SPP cases mixed with LPP cases and you are loading on a press with a case feeder, clearly, if you are setup for the traditional LPP primer feed and you get a SPP case fall into the process, when you get to the priming step, things come to a halt. So reloaders must separate SPP and LPP cases before loading the hopper and when they miss one, it stops production briefly.
