Yes it will not direct mount. You need to use an MOS optic plate. Don’t recommend the thin ones Glock included in packaging. I recommend the C&H precision mos plate. If you want a direct mount into slide you’ll need the holosun SCS or holosun EPS carry optic. Get a quality plate and the optic you have will mount as designed. 🍻

You said you have an rmr cut aftermarket slide. I'm going to guess there is just enough difference in the measurements they cut to and the Holosun. A few thousandths of an inch will make a difference

It’s not a mos slide it’s a rmr cut slide from Brownells

Yeah I’m going to see if I can find a shop that can file it for me because I’m sure if I send it back to Brownells I might end up getting the same thing

I used the Forward Controls MOS adapter. It was for an RMR but they may make one for a Holosun.

I'd take a fine file and just lightly brush those ends of the slide cut until it fits snug in there.

Do you have a picture of a fine file looks like so I can see if I can find one to buy

i don’t have a mos slide

I'd send it back. You file it, it will take the finish off. Also removes any hope of warranty repair or replacement if there's something else wrong with the slide. I'm sure Brownells has someone else make those slides for them. It's out of tolerance. Or.... is it possible you ordered a slide milled for the Holosun and they sent something else?

Interesting. My Brownells G19 slide fit my Holosun. It was a real tight fit though. Required me to drop it on there almost dead nuts straight and push a bit. Almost a slip fit. Can you measure parts?
