My wife finally got her gun licence. After I talked her into it for decades
She already learned, that a single stack will fit best for her hand size.
And she loves the design of a 1911, but it should be a 9 mm.
Intended use is shooting at the range and home defense.
Reliability is most important for her.
The pistol must not be picky concerning ammo. It should run with flat nose and jhp as well as with round nose ammo.
Commander size (4.25" barrel) and classic design is preferred. No rails and no front serrations at the slide.
What are your recommendations?
Personally I love Colt, but it seems that they still have some quality problems.
