I am deciding this weekend on P30 vs P2000 (9mm). I am torn...like both, but actually like the grip better of the P2000 as it is almost exactly the same as my HK 45c.

I know it's a win-win, but am curious as to what others in a similar situation decided to do.

Thanks in advance,

Both guns are on par with each other in terms of accuracy and reliability.

I think the decision comes down to the difference in grip styles and grip textures. The P30 is no doubt the more ergonomic gun, but the P2000 will be more comfortable when worn IWB next to bare skin.

I would go with the P2000 if it's going to be ccw, P30 if it's just to shoot. I love the feel of the P30, but I think that their grip, while comfortable, is so ugly visualy. I am buying a USP this month, I debated between it and the P2000 for my nightstand, I decided that the feel of the usp is best for me

To summarize, the P2000 holds two less rounds, unless used with a P30 magazine, and is more concealable due to a shorter and smoother grip frame. I prefer the P2000. For more concealability, there is the P2000SK.

Update....ended up getting the P2000 (9mm) V3. First time at the range today and couldn't be happier.

I know it was a win-win decision on P30vs P2K, but happy with my choice.

Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Congrats. I love my P2000 for carry. I really want a P30L for IDPA / IPSC now.
