I have a G19 gen 3, and the ejection was all over the place, BTF, left side, forward, and yes, correct. I picked up the gen 4 ejector and now consistent ejection. Quite happy with it. There was a gent with a stock G19 gen 3 at the range as well, he said he never noticed erratic ejection. I let him shoot mine and then his. His was all over the place with at least one BTF.

If you are having the issue this is worth a try. I had to buy the Gen 4 module on ebay, and paid around $12 all together. Pulling the ejector and switching was easy peasy.

I had the same ejections as you with my Gen. 3 19 and did the same ejector change as you did .
It cured about 99% of my ejections but not totally .
I changed the SLB to a non-LCI one and that fixed the last 1% .
Now even my light loaded rds. with cast bullets give me no ejection problems .

I thought about that, but I actually use the LCI and WA t to keep that. I'm sure someone makes one, but I'm trying to stay on a budget.

I still use the LCI extractor , I just changed the SLB from a LCI one to a non-LCI one .
It is just a tad longer than a LCI one and puts a tad more spring pressure on the extractor

Not very much cost and a stock Glock part
A few others with ejection problems have done the same and cured all their ejection problems .

Sorry I missed that part. I was not aware there was a difference. I need to look into that.

Glad that fixed your problem. I am curious now if the 4 or 5 Glocks I've had (all Gen 4 Blue Label buys) did/do it and I just don't notice or what but it's never been an issue for me at all. Seems like I'd notice brass hitting me in the face tho?
Does Glock do anything different on guns for LE/MIL??

Also meant to ask how long the ejection problem has existed? If it's not just recent, really hard to imagine why Glock wouldn't fix that?! I'd be pissed and wouldn't spend another dime on a Glock if they've just ignored the problem. What do they say if you send a gun back for this problem?

Funny, I had the exact same issues in my brand new Gen 3 Glock 19. You would think by now with as many complaints as people have they would just put the 30274 ejector in all Glock 19's instead of using the 336 ejector that seems to cause a good bit of issue. I know many have not had issue, but seems more common than not.

I used to think it was me, I noticed that if I really squeezed the grip I wouldn't have any BTF issues. It would get close, but not hit. But the ejection was all over the place. Just something else to tinker with.

My G36 would BTF me constantly. I eventually traded it off stupidly, and not related to the BTF.

I didn't know it was this easy of a fix.

It's not like ejection would fail. It would just ding you sometimes.

I did the same thing Ken Grant did to my 2016 Gen3 19 and it solved the problem.
TNRonin, as an FYI, you can't put the 30274 ejector on the 36.
Jigo - Glock made the ejector upgrade on the Gen4 9mm. If they would have done that for the Gen3 9mm it would have gone against their Glock Perfection motto and admit that there was an issue with the 336 ejector.

I made the same changes to my Gen. 3 26 as I did my 19 and have never had ejection problems until today .
I bought 3 of the MagPul 12 rd. mags for the 26 and tried them out today . I had one rd. eject over the slide to the left , two to the top of my head , two to the face ,one over the head and land behind me , a couple just over the right shoulder to land behind and one to the top of the shoulder . In all I shot 36 rds. in each mag for a total of 108 rds.
All of these were the last rd. in the mag .
Had no problems with any of the ones above the last rd.
To really check things , I fired several of my Glock mags with the same ammo and all ejected like they should .

Ohhh ok now it makes more sense. Not that I wanted to have problems, just didn't understand why I wasn't.
Well I certainly feel for you guys with Gen 3's. That's pretty crappy of Glock to do to y'all. Yes would have by far done more for their rep to admit a problem and offer a fix at no charge.
People can understand any company having an issue now and then. It's how they handle it that matters.
