...in 9mm. I picked it up today, really liked the ergo's and the trigger, much more so than my original PPS. I now have 3 concealed type single stacked 9mm, though the Sig P225-A1 which is a bit larger than all three, could be in that class as well. I have one concealed carry single stacked 45, the XDs 4.0 45 ACP, about the same size as the PPS but slightly heavier.

Like I said, the ergo's turned me on to the new PPS, the trigger second. I have not shot it yet but between the three guns in the pics, the Glock 43, the Honor Guard and the PPS M2, in terms of ergo's, the Honor Guard comes in first, as well as the overall trigger feel. The PPS second and G43 third. Come range time tomorrow or Sunday, I'll see how it compares to the other two putting lead down range. The Honor Guard is a fantastic shooter, so I'll see if I still prefer it over the G43 and maybe, the PPS. All three are about the same size, the HG largest and heaviest, the PPS and then the G43. The Sig 225-A1 is of course larger and heavier than all, plus it's a DA/SA trigger.

With the G43...

With the Guard...

All four single stacked 9mm in my inventory....

It is a disease lol My safe is overflowing and how many of these do I shoot on a weekly basis? Maybe 2, my primary carries.

It really looks like my PPS and my Nano had a child...the PPS M2

:iloveyou:
Like the Honor Guard was a Ruger and Shield having a one night stand....thus the HONOR GUARD on the side, remind me of Ruger writing lol It doesn't bother me as the HG is the gun to beat, it really is an excellent little gun IMO.

A friend let me shoot one briefly. An improvement over the first generation was my first superficial impression. I knew the first one well, and it was a superb carry gun.

Grip was improved, trigger way better if I recall correctly. I preferred the paddles, but I can live with a reversible magazine release.

I like the new M2 PPS and am close to getting one but I do wish they had thinned out the upper part of the frame a bit (height-wise). Ayoob did a 25 yard accuracy test and said it was more than acceptable even if it was a full size gun but the fact that it's a compact is very good.

I think this new one will sell well just like what happened with the PPQ vs PPQ M2.

How do I say this, I love this new PPS M2. Now I had an original and it was a solid gun but it took my hand some time to get used to it. This one, my hands took to the ergo's right off the bat and today, I shot around 450 rounds through it for its break-in. Not a single malfunction and I shot some ammo I probably shouldn't be, such as steel cased ammo and +p+ ammo. Granted, its primary defense ammo will probably be 147gr due to the short barrel or 124+p.

I just purchased the new Honor Guard as well I think it's a fantastic gun but now the new PPS M2 is right there. To be honest, it's difficult to pick a best between the two. I do love Walther's but I'm not biased. Hell, I was probably one of 3 people in the world who didn't like the new Walther PPQ 45 and I still don't like it, I think it's a bad shooting 45 ACP. But this PPS M2 is fantastic IMO, mainly due to the ergo's and the trigger. If I had to make a split decision between the HG and the PPS M2, I think maybe the HG only because I think the smooth trigger face, with the smooth trigger are slightly better.

Regardless, this gun is a keeper, love it and will carry it. Have a kydex IWB holster on the way already for appendix carry, how I role.

How is it size-wise wt the flush mag compared to the Xds, in terms of height? Sorry for asking about the XDs so much, but I'm very close to buying one. Thanks.

I really like my normal PPS, enough so that I don't see anything that the PPS M2 offers to make me want to change.... good luck to those that pick whichever one....
How do you know unless you've tried? Buy them both. I have the G43, XDs, PPS M2 and the Honor Guard. I've also had the old PPS, this one is better, better ergo's hands down.

About the same, the XDs is more blocky of course. My XDs is having FTF(eed) issues right now, which I think is a recoil spring issue. I have not replaced the stock since new, has well over 3000 rounds through it.
