I picked this up last week at a great price (I thought so anyways) and my RMR arrived today. I have some Trijicon supressor sights on their way as well. I can't wait to run some rounds through it this weekend.

I found a nice recipe for some 225 grn FP reloads. Which Trijicon did you pick? I have the 9.5 moa green dot on my G40 and my G 41.

I used the Trijicon suppressor sights.

I just spend the extra $$ to get the MOS. I'm kinda disappointed that Glock doesn't at least mount the suppressor sights as a stock option. I didn't realize those would be required on top of the red dot. Just more $$$!

I'm going to be switching to this model of Glock from my current Springfield Armory Service model XD .45 since the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia is making me give up my many 13 round mags or face criminal prosecution, I purchased them at the same time that I bought my handgun. So I will take them and gun to my local gun store and sell my gun and all my mags to them which is the only way I can try to get some remuneration for my property or I can turn in my mags to local law enforcement by July 1, 2017 for destruction and get nothing. I carried the XD .45 when I had a CCW license in other states before letting myself stupidly be talked into moving to Kalifornia by my wife to be near her oldest son and the Grandkids. I swore an oath I would never return to this state after being spit on when I returned in uniform as a U.S. Army Officer during Vietnam! Why oh, why did I let her talk me into this? We are now talking about separating because she does not want to leave this "socialist hell" so I am going to have to sell some of my guns just to stay legal or leave this state. I know what is coming next and it's not good.

papa, good luck! I left there in 2014 and do not miss it one bit. I am so glad I left the armpit of the universe. You are correct, it is a socialist hell.

The Glock long slides are very nice. My G40 is a pleasure to shoot. The MOS guns are great for the eyes with some age. The price of optics not so much but like politics, its a pay to play thing.

When the lambs gather, it gets really bad. I hope and pray texas does not get that way. I pray and hope that Clinton does not win and trump puts in a Dept of Justice and goes after her. that woman and husband needs to be prosecuted and jailed. Pedaling influence, taking money from from foreign governments and washing it clean through that foundation.

daughter fresh out of college, paid a $900,000 salary and living in a 3 million dollar apartment. When they left the white House, she complained how broke they were and now estimated net worth 300 million......that money laundering operation and pedaling influence......I wish they would disarm her body guards.

maybe then she would leave regular, ever-day peeps alone so we can have protection.

She hates the Bill of rights and wants it destroyed. She has already proved that the law is for us, not her or any other politician.
In California and Georgia their legislators have passed laws recently which DO NOT apply to politicians.

We are heading down the wrong path for sure.

Back to thread topic.....the dual mode RMR is what I'm planning to get. Maybe santa will bring me ACOG for my AR and a RMR for tactical shotgun. I thought I wanted RMR for pistol, but changed my mind. Laser type red dot for pistol for me i think
