So I seen the ne Colt Mustang in the gun store today.with a price of $605 and it being just 13oz unloaded, make it a little more tempting then the $685 15oz Sig P238.

My question is does anyone have one yet, and is there any major difference between the two besides what I just mentioned?

My LGS has the sig 238 with a laser for $489. They almost had a buyer but I found my Nano 2 days later.

We own a Sig and we like it so far. Have yet to see any of the Colts around. We agree with nevermore: You can do better than $685 for a Sig P238. Look elsewhere.

We trudge on.

Ok you guys have a point, I'm comparing a high end Stainless Slide Sig to the Colt. I guess I could get the base model for a heck a lot cheaper.

But back to the differences, just based on the function is there a difference. For example the Sig seems pretty safe to pocket carry in a good holster. Is the Colt less safe?

Functionally they're about the same, again the sights on the Sig are better by a mile.
