I recently decided to give IWB carry a try in hopes of better concealment.
I got my first IWB holster yesterday for my G33 and as the title states I bought a Comp Tac MTAC.
This is all new to me so I'm learning this holster.
I was hoping for some input.
Yesterday, I thought that the 4:00 position was the most comfortable and I could still access my front pocket with ease.
I used a 1-3/4" 5.11 tactical belt yesterday and I will admit that the belt couldn't get tight enough due to the fact that I have lost some weight. So it was sagging a bit and bugged the **** out of me.
I put on a different belt today that is pretty stiff and great for carrying IMOP. This belt is only 1-1/2" so its not what I should be wearing with the holster because the clips are 1-3/4" but I wanted to see how it felt tighter against my body.
I put the holster back at the 4:00 position and tightened the belt up. I had to make it on the verge uncomfortably tight to keep the holster from sagging.
I realize that my glock weighs a decent amount and I will have to have it fairly tight.
I literally have no ass so I'm wondering if that is part of the sagging issue with the position I'm wearing the holster.
I was looking online and see people wearing this holster at the 3:00 position (hip).
Do you guys find that wearing at the 3:00 position helps with sagging?
I tried it briefly yesterday and found it somewhat uncomfortable and my front pocket was kinda a pain in the ass to get into.
I will say that I need to buy a new 1-3/4" belt that I can adjust tighter.
What position do you guys prefer with these MTAC holsters?
