I added a pyramid full trigger system to my G17 Gen 3 and I had a out 500 round ds through it before today. But today at the range it started with these two and 3 round bursts any ideas?

Take a deep breath and put the OEM stuff back in the gun. You don't need any more complications. There are only a handful of aftermarket triggers I would run, but overtime I am back 100% with OEM parts. A bit of polish and a LOT of shooting and I am just fine with the trigger.

See if they will take the "kit" back and have a look. Did it double with a full magazine or close to empty. BTW - I am sure you tested many times with 2 or 3 rounds total and then gradually increased the rounds? Reason, the Glock is very much a stacking tolerance smorgasbord. A full mag will push up on the slide significantly and changing the engagement relation of the striker/crucifix area.

If you have an armorer's slide cover plate use that to check the engagement of the trigger bar sear tab and the firing pin lug with the slide and trigger forward. On Gen3 and older you want at least 2/3 vertically of the trigger bar tab covered by the firing pin lug. IIRC Gen4 and later the whole sear tab should be covered.

Make sure the firing pin safety spring is fully inserted into the firing pin safety, you should feel a small click when the spring locks into the safety. Also if you're using an aftermarket trigger spring switch back to the factory spring.

First things first - replace the system back to the OEM and test it again. My guess, something is amiss with the aftermarket parts.

If OEM works normally, call the trigger manufacturer and tell them what happened... see what they have to say.

I hear you, I have a brand new four month old Blue Label G-45, and it double taps sometimes.
In the beginning I thought it was the Glock, but now I believe my trigger finger is causing the problem.
I am a NY-2 heavier trigger spring kind of guy, the standard G-45 trigger feels very light to me, something I am not used to.
I plan to shoot the stuffing out of it in about two weeks on vacation, and I hear Glock has a stiffer trigger pull doohickie out there for sale somewhere, taht may help me.
I t could be the trigger system, it could be you.
Good luck.

For a Gen5-type Firing Mechanism, to increase the pull with OEM parts you could use the new "NY1" Trigger Spring 39651 made for the G19X and G45. Or try the UNMARKED Connector to add about 0.5-lbf to the pull.

For more, these OEM parts may be tried.

1. PLUS (8.0-lbf) Connector.

2. RED (6.3-lbf) Firing Pin Spring or BLUE (7.0-lbf) Firing Pin Spring. (These are not sold by Glock in the North American market, but some third-party suppliers of OEM parts carry them.)

"I added a pyramid full trigger system to my G17 Gen 3"

Translation:
Like all the n00bs, I went to Lenny Magill's Glock Store thinking it was the official Glock Store.
Once there, I was mesmerized by all the shiny stuff and pretty colored accessories for my Glock !
I bought his house brand Pyramid trigger system. Love the gold color !

So yes, I confess, Lenny bent me over and did me dry !
But I now have a full auto Glock !

Solution:
Put the stock parts back in.

When you rob a bank or murder someone (ie commit a felony) do you post it to the internet for the world to see?

The proper response when something like this happens, is to immediately remove the trigger, put the stock trigger back in, and send the parts back to the manufacturer for repair/replacement, all without any fanfare.

Hummm, what “felony” was committed here. OP has a malfunctioning firearm, seeking information. The proper response is to contact the vendor and attempt to resolve the problem. The pyramid is a fine system and just needs replacement or tuning. Now if the OP takes his malfunctioning firearm and robs the local quiki mart, well that is a felony.
