Wouldn't the cost of the new springs be pretty close to the cost of shipping the gun back to Glock? I know it's too late now. But I'd have tried that. Let them go through it and replace most of everything in the gun and magazines.

I'm sure you'll get it figured out. It could be that old recoil spring is too old and a different spring rate and that's causing your issue.

I would recommend doing only one thing at a time to see if that one component is what is causing your issue. Of course I say that, but I don't always do that myself lol.

Part of me says call Glock and have them email you a label to send it to them on their dime. Tell them to shoot a few hundred rounds through it.

The other part of me says dump it. Especially if you sell to a friend who knows the history.

Personally, I see all centerfire Glocks as defense weapons foremost. Any hiccups as stated, then repaired by you and then again by Glock that still exist has me forever doubting the gun.

Maybe something is slightly out of spec. Tolerance stacking is causing it. Then Glock finally tosses enough parts at it to overcome that tolerance stack issue. But what happens down the line after a thousand rounds and that part starts to wear to the point tolerance stacking will become a problem again. But this time it's shows itself during a self defense situation? You're done.

Just my $.02 on the issue.
