Moving in a different direction here lately

I've purchased more than a few bottom feeders over the years, and I do love them. For carry they have been my mainstay, aside from my SP101. After bringing home a like new, apparently unfired Blackhawk .41 mag, I realized of the last five firearms I've purchased, four of them are revolvers, three of those four are single actions, and all four are Rugers. I can't say I'm disappointed in the direction I've gone.

I had one years ago; the darn thing smacked my knuckle on the back of the trigger guard something terrible. They are beautiful firearms but if I were to add another with a longer barrel, I'd look to one in .45LC or .357.

I started buying handguns un the late 1980’s and all but two were revolvers. I love them. I’ve turned most of them over through the years and mostly have semi’s now. However the two guns going into the coffin with me are a Model 10 and a 686. Revolvers are great to shoot and are BEAUTIFUL to look at. Keep at it.

Now you need some of the Six revolvers! The Speed Six is my favorite, just a little bigger than the SP101 and you get 6 rounds! I have 3 so far,

Early (1974) 4 inch Security Six, kind of rare since they didn't make a lot of stainless guns on the original 150 frame.

This one is my latest addition, and will probably become my favorite. Just bought this yesterday so I'm hoping it'll be at my FFL by the end of next week. A rare 3 inch Police Service Six. Most of the 3 inch guns were the Speed Six like the USPS and NYCPD models. There's a few theories on how the 3 inch Service Six came about but they're almost unheard of. I've only seen 3 other examples and mine is the first I found for sale.

I've had this Resistol Silverbelly for a day or two. It's older than anyone born after December of 1981 and was my Christmas present to myself while I was at the Drill Sgt. Academy at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. It makes a pretty good back drop every now and then. :D
