Not mine, but figured someone on here would surely be interested. Any guesses on where it'll end up? I'd say somewhere around the $3k range, give or take $1k. Merry Christmas to whoever gets it.

This was my thought exactly. As a former LEO, I appreciate the 19M and feel a connection to the the ones I have especially the one's used in the field. Although the MK27 has been on my short list, having no military experience, the thrill is not there as much as my 19FDE. Maybe it's just my way of talking myself out of spending $5-$6k on another rare gun.The collector value of these MK27s makes legit FBI 19Ms seem like your average run-of-the-mill G19s in comparison lol
I agree. Although this and a Mod 2 MK27 are both on my short list as well, I have to admit I breathed a (albeit, confused) sigh of relief when the seller refused to sell to me in my state. I'm just passing that off as the universe giving me a big NO on dropping $3k+ on one of these since in all honesty, I really probably shouldn't lol. Much more important things that can be done with that $... Maybe later on down the road though! This was my thought exactly. When did Glock come out with the MOS slide?

Well, with 3 days left on the bid, things sure are getting interesting! We're getting towards the upper end of what these things have gone for. Surprisingly, (to me at least) the Mod 1 seems to hold more value than the Mod 2. The below picture is from just 2 or so years ago.

Only thing I can think of is because a Mod 2 is slightly easier to replicate since Gen 3s never came in MOS-flavor to the commercial market like gen 4s did, not to mention the threaded barrel G19.4 MOS. And even finding either of those is proving to be a challenge to find these days!
But I digress, it will continue to be interesting to see where this one ends up.
I wonder if Gaston ever imagined the following he would inspire back when he was dreaming up his creation... R.I.P.
Correct, however, I believe only the UID is what can't be replicated since the G19.4MOSTB actually does exist. Rare as it is, though.Re: the Mod 2, still couldn't replicate the UID or the threaded bbl w matching SN
I'm not sure, but is the barrel threading not standard as well? I can't recall. Does anyone know?Correct, however, I believe only the UID is what can't be replicated since the G19.4MOSTB actually does exist. Rare as it is, though.

My thoughts exactly! Could have probably commanded even more with a proper title. Though that being said, I do recall reading another MK27 owner mention that the Mod 1 was the tougher/more expensive acquisition of the two so it still seems like the Mod 2s are slightly less valued even though that one would probably be my preference if I had to choose between them.I was the buyer of that Mod. 2
As you can see, it was not properly advertised as a MK 27 nor appreciated to be one by the sellar.
That seller was very lucky that they did an auction instead of a buy it now as so many other sellers of rare guns that they do not understand have done in the past thus massively short changing themselves.
I think you're right, I forgot about the metric LH thread pitch!I'm not sure, but is the barrel threading not standard as well? I can't recall. Does anyone know?
Exactly.I think you're right, I forgot about the metric LH thread pitch!
So at least aesthetically-speaking the Mod 2 is replicable save for the tiny UID that no one would ever notice, except of course you as the owner which for us diehards is probably punishment enough, haha.Exactly.
I think the Mod 2 is a way cooler gun. That said, I very much hope to get a 1 someday.
Couldn't agree more! I am in the exact same situation and feel the same way. Firm believer though that what's meant to be, will be - so we'll get one, one day! There were some goof threads on the Mod 2s a couple years back.
Less than 20 know as far as I can recall.
No idea why the 1 would be more valuable. I like the Mod 2 better on the merits bit I'd love a Mod 1 as well.
If I didn't have too many other things going with respect to forearms expenses I would bid this one up. But, it's not to be for me now. Hopefully I'll find one in the future.
Indeed. So at least aesthetically-speaking the Mod 2 is replicable save for the tiny UID that no one would ever notice, except of course you as the owner which for us diehards is probably punishment enough, haha.
Exactly.Indeed.
However, only a true Glock collecting geek like those of us here would have any real interest in these.
These are pretty in-the-weeds/advanced collecting level guns. Thus, anyone who would care would know the difference.
