Was at the range today and the guy next to me was having trouble with some 9mm factory reloads he picked up from Lucky Gunner. The brand was American "Something" I cant remember the second word.

Im not sure if they didnt put enough powder in or what, but there wasnt enough power to shoot and jammed up two of his Glocks and a JR Carbine. The bullet itself got stuck in the barrel of all 3 of his guns!!

Friggin crazy Ive never seen such a thing. He had about 1000 rounds of this stuff bagged up in 100 round bags. He tried one from 3 different bags and all did the same thing.

And thats exactly why I dont buy reloads, even if it was from the factory

Stick to name brand ammo. May cost you more but in the long run, it's far less likely to have issues.

Better yet, for most calibers, reload. Right before our King (so he thinks) got reelected, you couldn't reload 9mm for what you could get 100 rd boxes of Federal from Walmart.

Whenever I say something like that, someone chimes in and says he bought 10K primers, 10K slugs and 100# of powder from some going out of business sale and reloads for some absurd price. Don

Smokin45 - This is Anthony from over at LuckyGunner. I'm not sure how well you know the gentleman who was next to you at the range Saturday, if there is any way to reach him, I'd love to try to make the situation right. If you happen to run into him again, please pass along my email: anthony@luckygunner.com. Thank you for taking the time.
THIS is why I will continue to do business with them, until I have a stone cold reason not to.

Anthony, I've never purchased any ammunition from your company although I am fortunate enough to shoot quite often.

However, based upon your response to the situation noted by the OP (and even without you having the particulars in this instance) it's obvious you are a responsible seller who is involved and concerned about your business. In other words, "a class act".

You just sold a new customer based upon your actions here - that would be me. I look forward to doing business with you shortly.

I've been using LuckyGunner for quite awhile and never had a problem with them. Any time you buy remanufactured ammo from any company you are at the mercy of the reloader. LuckyGunner sends it's customers an email after your purchase with a questionnaire asking about your satisfaction with the product, or shipping, etc. A quality company who is interested in your complete satisfaction.

I was thinking just primers. no powder at all:shocked:

Yeah, if the bullet was stuck in the barrel I would agree, no powder. I have bought ammo on line from various sites, including Lucky Gunner. I had a good experience with LG, however, the spike in on-line ammo prices has really turned me off to all these on-line ammo sites. I prefer to support my LGS and Walmart due to the fact that their ammo prices are only marginally higher (20%) versus the 100-300% price increases at most on-line stores. Just my 2 cents ....

I was recently a first time buyer at luckygunner in purchasing 3,000 rounds of 9mm and couldn't have been happier. This post just solidified the fact that lucky gunner will forever be a first choice of mine. Excellent representation! :thumbs up:

It's been a couple months but I shot 1000 rounds of Military Ballistic Industries 9mm factory reloads from LG out of my G19 and didn't have a problem. Maybe the manufacturer let speed get in the way of quality with all the pressure to produce ammo lately. But yeah that's catastrophic ammo fail to have bullets stuck in the barrel.

Over the years, Ive actually had more issues with factory ammo, than I have with my reloads. On average, I shoot and load 300 rounds of 9mm alone each week, and have done that for over four years now with no problems.

Right before our King (so he thinks) got reelected, you couldn't reload 9mm for what you could get 100 rd boxes of Federal from Walmart.
If this were the 90's, I might agree with you. Back then, I was buying military surplus and 2000 round cases of Norinco for less than I could buy the components to load the equivalent amount. That was the last time that has happened though.

Back before the last ammo shortage, it cost me about $3-3.50 a box of 50 for 9mm, and Winchester value packs were going for just under $20. The cheapest Ive seen 9mm in 50 round boxes these days, has been for $12 a box. Its costing me right around $6 a box to reload them today.

I didnt buy any yard sale powder, primers or bullets either, although I do usually buy in bulk when I do buy.
