Of those listed above, I'd go with the Kimber TLE all day long. Kimber's best value bang/buck ratio in their line up IMO.

I have the G20SF, but have always loved the feel of a 1911, I own 2 in .45 caliber. I just held the Ruger SR1911-10 and it felt really good in my hands, might be getting a new pistol.

DW will build you a 10mm Valor in a Commander size for $2,500.00 +/-

Why no love for Sig's Tac Ops in 10mm? You get like, four 8-rd mags in the case with the gun.

Yeah, I know the Bud's link shows "Out of Stock," but I'm just throwing the option out there. Both reviews by the Bud's buyers gave it 5-Stars. ... Plus, being a railed 1911, you get the option to run a light.

I'm sure it is a reasonable option. Just really not a fan of the sculpted slide and external extractor on the standard Sigs.

Okay, maybe the OP already decided, ... but offered FYI, and to provide another option for others who still might be looking, there's this relatively new 10mm candidate from Coonan:

Coonan 10mm MOT-10:

Bud's doesn't have the 10mm model yet, but here's a link to the .45acp MOT-45 to get some idea of likely pricing. I'd want the 10mm model with night sights, so likely over $1500:

Just picked this up last week. Shoots nicely and didn’t really require much break-in to feed even JHP. Only 200 rounds in but it’s already working quite nicely.

I don’t love the grips so I ordered a custom set of wood grips to dress it up a bit. This won’t really ever be a carry piece for me so why not. At any rate...a very nice offering from Colt.

You must have one manufactured Tuesday thru Thursday. Call in Kimber CS about mine, CS informed me they were having a lot of issues with their 1911 10mm cal.
My Custom ll FTF 2 to 3 times per mag.
After trying multiple types of ammo and mags , I lost all confidence in Kimber.
So I traded it is on a Glock40.
Then fed it the all the leftover ammo that the Kimber did not like.

Hope you continue to have positiveresults with urs.

Current Kimber 10mms are junk.

Real choices for a durable 10mm 1911 that you might actually holster-up for concealed EDC would be a Delta, or a Sig Tac Ops (which is a railed gun if you want to run a light), or a Coonan 10mm MOT-10.

The Phillipy 10mm RIAs are worth a look if you don't want to get spendy.

Agreed on your points...the picture (and subsequently my pistol) is a Colt Delta Elite. I just traded out of a Kimber I bought about 3 months ago. Lost my a$$ on it, but came home with a second Dan Wesson so it was a good week for pistols in my house!

Took a bath on my FFL Dealer closeout on Kimber inventory. Glocks, Ruger
S&W and Colt are among my favorites.
