I haven't seen anyone say much about LW's newer 3.5 Classic Connector (LW-721)but I got one and installed it in my G17. I needed a few parts from LW. I had brass to forehead so got a new tool steel extractor and an extended slide lever to replace the OEM one that had a bent spring. Also got the famous LW magic locking block for the heck of it.
The so called classic connector only made my trigger better. It still has all the characteristics of the OEM Gen 3 trigger, which I actually like. Where as the regular Glock 3.5 connector made the trigger a little mushy and different. The break is well defined and still take a reasonable pull so I don't see it as a competition only trigger. Reset is slightly improved as well. I think this connector is the best one I've found so far for guns that are not strictly range and competition.
For background, LW claims that they copied the original Long Minus connector used in the early competition Glocks in the 80's and very early 90's before they changed to the Short Minus connector we can still buy today. Several Glocktalk folks speak very highly of the Long Minus so I thought it would be a nice addition.
