I have a new G41 Gen 4 MOS.
The plate #4 does not fit the Deltapoint Pro base. The front two studs will fit into the Deltapoint Pro but the rear two will not (remaining ~ 3/32 above the # 4 plate, ~the height of the stud). If I start with the rear two the situation reverses.
It appears the studs width is correct but the length dimension is different from the DeltaPoint Pro.

Help?

Right. The Pro does not have quite the same mount dimensions as the old Deltapoint. You'll find some ideas for mods at the Smith & Wesson forum (be careful because the distance of the holes or studs from the front is also different I believe). Leupold is said to be working on an adapter but don't know details and I gather no one knows the timeline.

There's a guy over at TheHighroad who says he had no trouble putting a DPP on his G34 MOS fwiw.
I just got my Delta Point Pro today. I had called Leupold and asked about the issue with using the Glock supplied mounting plate. They said that the Pro has the exact same dimensions as fas as the mount is concerned and the Pro will mount using the Glock supplied plate I got with My G17MOS.
I was concerned after reading some posts that claimed otherwise.
It mounted right up using the #4 plate !
It's off to the range tomorrow !

I'm currently waiting on my Glock 19 Gen 4 MOS and Leupold Delta Point Pro to arrive from Brownells. Are there any mounting screws that need to be purchased separately from Leupold to mount the sight to the Glock MOS? I will be using the Glock supplied plate to mount the Delta Point. I'm assuming that these screws will not be included with the supplied Glock base plates that come with the pistol.

I didn't need to purchase any extra screws. The ones with the Glock mounting plates worked for me. I mounted the Deltapoint Pro on my G 17.
Everything went together perfectly with no issues.

You're welcome
One word of warning though, be careful if you decide to take the plate off of the Glock. It's real easy to strip the head of the screw with the supplied wrench. The thread lock stuff on the screws really does it's job. Buy a good quality bit to fit the screw. Putting it on with the supplied wrench is fine, taking it off is another story.

Thanks for the warning. This is why I've gone to Night Force optics rather than continuing with the Pacific Northwest's home team...the quality just isn't there anymore. As for the DPP, Leupold won the race by default. Seems the makers of reflex sights don't understand that these optics will be primarily used on a pistol and build them for rifle use, ie, the battery locations and sight locking mechanism. Another example of product marketing ruling the roost only to be followed by unsatisfied customers going elsewhere.
I'm crossing my fingers, hoping Leupold has a winner and in my opinion their DPP has all the right features for handgun use...I just hope Leupold didn't forget to add the quality.

I have had no problems mounting Leupold Delta Point Pro(2.5) on my Glock19 gen4, all fits and mounts as intended

I have a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro on the way, but just looking at the Glock 19 MOS and the mounting plate with screws has confused me (easily done) - I have two 6 mm torx screws that came with the Glock 19, and three 3 mm torx screws that came with the furnished set of plates (MOS Adapters). It looks like there is going to be a problem getting screws to fit flush on the adapter plate (holding it to the slide) and on the Leupold DPP (holding it to the adapter plate... Do I have the right Torx screws and the right amount of screws to make this work? Do I need to find other screws besides the three 3 and two 6 MM screws I have? Thanks.g.b.

The DeltaPoint Pro was delivered. Had two longish screws with it. These screws go through the sight base and thread into the Glock adapter plate number 4. The Glock package of adapter plates contained three small screws and a torx allen wrench - the size that holds the #4 adapter on a Glock 19 Gen 4 MOS. Got that No. 4 adapter plate installed with no trouble.

Added a rear iron sight to the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and tried to mount it with the two longish screws that came with the sight. The screws are the correct diameter but too long and extend well past the bottom of the Glock Adapter #4, raising the rear end of the sight up off the slide, noticeably.

Called Leupold support for help getting replacement screws and they said they don't provide screws for the Glock adapter plate because there are so many variations of guns and mounts they didn't know which one to put with which individual order. They said it was Glock's business to provide the screws for their base.

The last time I called Glock (two days ago) on this subject, they said the little screws that came with the adapter plate package should be used. Of course when I tried that, these little screws were not long enough or or large enough diameter to reach the threaded holes in the sight base adapter (and they only gave me three of these little screws anyway).

So I'm stuck until Tuesday when Glock opens and I can try again to get screws to hold the sight on the adapter plate.

Does anyone know the actual size and/or nomenclature of the screws that will hold a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro sight onto the Glock #4 adapter plate without the screws protruding through the adapter to the slide itself and raising it up off the slide? What screws can I buy to fit? I've already tried Ace Hardware, Home Depot, Advance Auto Parts, and the local gun shop/shooting range.

Thanks for letting me share frustration. g.b.

Will probably need to put a shim under rear of base plate. Love the sight but have been wrestling with zeroing since mounted. Finally discovered the shim.
good luck.
you can also get dovetail plate to replace rear sight. Have heard that also works.
Even sent the sight back to Luepold and was surprised they didn’t mention the issue.

Recommend using longer screws and placing shim under rear of mounting plate.
if you don’t it will aim very low.
