Anyone in the know about the shelf life of these new lead free primers? I found some info on line that suggests 10 to 15 years is their "guaranteed" shelf life. This is not cool for those stacking deep for extended future use.

Ugh, not good. I don't believe any of the primers I have are lead free. Would they be labeled as such so as to let the buyer be aware of this type primer?Honestly, I have used "lead free" primer ammunition from Remington that was between 10 and 15 years old, and suffered an approx. 30% failure rate.
Being a guy who stows ammunition for future use..... This was completely unacceptable, and will never buy Lead Free ammo again.
By the same token, I am still shooting 30-06 from the Korean war that is probably at least as good as the day it was made.... Virtually zero failures to fire.
