I’ve been thinking about getting one for a suppressor host. Need to find a threaded barrel first though.
A number of months back I was able to find one of the factory threaded barrels for my LCP II .22, which I only shoot suppressed - it's fun and runs just fine, though you have to use the top surface of the suppressor to form your sight picture :)

I polished the exteriors of the original and threaded barrel, which I believe helps to reduce friction between it and the slide...'couldn't hurt, especially on a .22 rimfire semi auto pistol:

...along with providing a smoother "toolmark free" chamber for easier feeding:

It’s among Ruger’s cheap line of crap products. No thanks. I don’t buy bargain basement trash.
That's all fine and good, but a bit condescending; not all of us can afford to buy $1.5K-$3K NIB unfired pistols that we plaster images of across multiple discussion forums.

And since my "bargain basement trash" Ruger LCP II .22 pistol has operated with 100% reliability using SV, HV, and subsonic ammo, I must have gotten a POS lemon? This is outrageous! I demand that it malfunction so I can take no responsibility whatsoever - and so you can happily keep whining away about "crap" you wouldn't buy!

(my honest apologies to the OP and those who've had issues with their LCP II .22's; I hope those issues get resolved to your complete satisfaction)
