I mentioned this in another post regarding the LCP series. I have both the 380 and 22 and have no problems.
can’t say this is the case here, but what I have seen is people used to gripping with a high 2 handed grip will often impair slide movement causing issues.
first try shooting the pistol one handed if the problem goes away then it is your grip.
if not you could have a lemon of course
