Hey everyone, first off just want to start off by saying though I have been reading and learning a lot this is my first post and I am new to Glocks. I recently turned 21 and got involved w target shooting w a friend of mine and I went straight to Glock and never looked back.
I couldn't decide between the 17 or the 19 but wanted a 9mm for ammo prices. I was deadset on the 17 until I went to a nice size gun store Jan 2 and saw a NIB G19 for $440. I wasn't planning on purchasing my first gun till end of Feb to pay off some car parts I recently bought but the salesmen convinced me to put the gun on Layaway and I had 90 days to pay the rest and still get it for the $440 price tag. It was a done deal at that point.
Which brings me to this post were on now.....I'm so anxious to get it I'm tired of waiting knowing its mine and I have the money to pick it up at anytime I'm just trying to get my other stuff paid for before the new toy. I think I have convinced myself to just go get it next week when I get back in town haha, but I really wanted to say thank you to everyone for helping me get to this point and does anyone have ideas on what other things to be preparing as I wait for the gun...like cleaning or anything else other then get extra mags haha.
Sorry for such a long post but I am very excited to get my first glock and already have big plans for it and future glocks
